Design and Implementation of New Biomedical Signal Processing Platform

  • To compensate for the shortcomings of existing medical digital signal processing(DSP)experimental platform and increase the interest of Biomedical Engineering students in learning medical DSP, and to deepen their understanding of medical DSP and strengthen the awareness of medical DSP in the biomedical engineering practice processes, this paper designs a new biomedical DSP platform.Using high-performance digital signal processing chips and 32-bit microcontroller, high-precision ADC devices to realize medical analog signal processing unit, and through communication and serial ports to transmit signals,instructions with PC, we can complete medical signal’s display, storage and control on PC.Practice shows that the platform in promoting students to learn medical digital signal processing plays a role, help enhance the students interest in learning and initiative of the medical signal.
