Abstract
Optogenetics provides a new way to regulate and control the activity of specific neurons of neural circuits and thus greatly promotes the development of neuroscience. In the use of optogenetics methods to control cells, we usually require a light stimulation signal with sinusoidal waveform changes. In this paper, a set of sinusoidal wave signal generator is built based on a polarization laser, half-wave plate, polarizing plate and stepper motor. Its output frequency was very accurate and the highest frequency was up to 89 Hz.The experimental results demonstrate our technology scheme will have good application prospects in the field of optogenetics.
