Development of Experimental Teach System for Cuttings Transport in Horizontal Wellbore Drilling

  • In order to study the influence of different drilling parameters on the migration of horizontal wells in horizontal wells,this paper designs and develops an experimental teaching system of horizontal well cuttings migration.The system includes drilling fluid circulation system,cuttings injection system,drill pipe rotation and eccentric system,experimental annulus system,annulus hoisting system,data acquisition and analysis system,to meet the different drilling fluid displacement,such as flow rate of drilling fluid,rotational speed of drill pipe,eccentricity of drill pipe,cuttings injection velocity,inclination angle of wellbore,drilling fluid density and the rheological parameters.Practice shows that the experimental system is simple,reliable operation,for undergraduate experimental teaching and scientific and technological innovation and scientific research provides a good platform.
