NAT Experimental Teaching Implemented on Packet Tracer Software

Network address translation(NAT)is an important part of computer network experiments,which is generally used with access control list(ACL),under the premise of ensuring the network security,at the same time to enable Internet access,NAT is the basis of the forming a comprehensive and complex network.This paper uses Packet Tracer simulation software to simulate the real environment,students are required to design and fulfill the project according to the needs.The experimental results are also required to be verified and analyzed.This teaching method can help students to thoroughly understand the principle of network technology,while enhancing the ability of independent analysis and problems solving.Practice shows that the application of simulation software to carry out experimental teaching,student learning initiative has improved,the teaching effect is good.
