Comprehensive Chemical Design Experiment—the Preparation and Characterization of Pt/(Al2O3)x-(TiO2)1-x Nanomaterials

  • A comprehensive chemical design experiment was introduced on the basis of research achievements,which was innovated the teaching contents and methods by the process of “Teachers’ guide-Students’ design-Material preparation-Performance characterization and Comprehensive analysis”.A series of Pt/(Al2O3)x-(TiO2)1-x nanomaterials were prepared by coprecipitation method and the catalytic activity were investigated by the catalytic oxidation reactions of diesel emission control in the self-made reactor.Moreover,the textural properties,reduction behaviors and structure performance of the catalysts were characterized for further investigation.The results showed that the Pt/(Al2O3)0.3-(TiO2)0.7 catalyst exhibited the best activity.
