Design and Practice of the Opening Experimental on Cutting Force Test Based on OBE Teaching Model

  • In order to take full advantage of large scale instruments and equipments in the applications of undergraduates, experimental teaching,and cultivate and train students, rigorous scientific style,by introducing outcomes based education(OBE)engineering training model,this paper explores the open experiments based on learning outcomes,combined with the“Metal Technology” course in mechanical design,manufacturing and automation field,the cutting force test open experiment was designed to examine the factors that affect in different environments and the solutions.Through this experiment,it can not only surely enrich students', professional knowledge,but also develop students' ability to discover problems and solve problems.
