Design and Implementation of P-persistent CSMA Based on FPGA

  • In order to improve the communication efficiency of wireless network and reduce the energy consumption,the carrier monitoring access technology in MAC protocol can increase the throughput of communication system and reduce the average power of nodes.According to the working characteristics of each node in the wireless network,a field programmable gate array(FPGA)provides an implementation solution for the P-persistent CSMA protocol-based communication system.The experimental results are consistent with the theoretical values,which prove that the correctness and realizability of the design.It can effectively improve the transmission efficiency and reduce the energy consumption.It can be applied to the wireless communication network.
