A New Fast Adjustment Scheme of Spectrometer

The adjustment of spectrometer is one of the difficulties in college physics experiment teaching.Adjusting the optical axis of the telescope to be perpendicular to the central axis of the spectrometer is the most time consuming procedure.To solve this problem,a new fast adjusting method of spectrometer is proposed in this paper.This method cleverly uses the level to correctly judge the position of the cross image,so that the cross images of the three prisms in two optical planes can be found quickly.This method is quite easy to be understood and mastered by the beginners,and can make the beginners finish the whole adjustment of spectrometer in about a half hour.
