Abstract
The ability of innovation and practice are important learning quality for mechanical students. This paper takes the development of automobile test bed as the carrier to comprehensively improve the students’ professional level and innovative practice ability. By analyzing the test methods and performance parameters of requirements of vehicle seat, seat fixture and headrest certification regulation in various countries, the seat back and headrest static strength and stiffness test benches were developed to achieve automatic detection of seat strength and stiffness. The test bench mainly includes three parts: mechanical system, hydraulic system, and control system. The validity of the developed test bench is verified by experimental test and result analysis. The result shows that the test bench can accurately meet the actual test requirements of seat performances.
