The Design of a Weight Measurement System

  • The weight measuring instrument is a new measuring method that combines weighing and sensor technology, conversion technology and information processing technology. This paper designs a weight measurement system based on weight sensor, STC12C5A60S2 single-chip microcontroller and YM12864C graphic liquid crystal display. The system first converts the mass signal into a pressure signal through a varistor, and then outputs it as a voltage digital signal suitable for CPU processing by means of a linear amplifier and A/D conversion. Finally converts it into a weight display on the YM12864C graphic liquid crystal display. Experimental results show that the difference between the weighted basis of the system and the high precision scale is less than 0.5 grams, which is close to the performance of the high-precision balance.
