Development and Application of Gyro Orientation Experimental Teaching System

  • In order to optimize the traditional gyro orientation experimental teaching mode, a gyro orientation experimental teaching system is developed. Firstly, the principle of gyro orientation and the basic composition of the gyro total station are introduced. Secondly, the principle, composition and function of the gyro orientation experimental teaching system are expounded in detail. Thirdly, the core algorithm of gyro north finding measurement module is presented. Finally, the application of the experimental teaching system in experimental curriculum is analyzed, which completes the gyro total station teaching and indoor demonstration. Using the intuitive and concise interface of the gyro orientation experimental teaching system, students can have a deeper understanding of the principle and method of gyro north finding. It improves the quality and level of gyro orientation experimental teaching.
