Application of GUS Staining Technique in the Teaching of Genetics Experiment

In order to improve the experiment teaching quality of the Mendelian segregation law of qualitative character heredity regulated by single major gene, the teaching conception of using exogenous reporter gene GUS to verify the genetic rules was proposed. The experiment not only checks up Mendel's law of segregation on the molecular level, but also provides investigated method of exogenous genes. Therefore, the experiment is a successful exploration of scientific achievements in genetic experimental teaching.
