Research on the Application of Virtual Simulation Experiment in High School Biology Experimental Teaching

  • In recent years, with the rapid development of biotechnology, people have paid increasing attention to the biology teaching and research. The new curriculum standards of biology in high schools has emphasized on improving students' biological literacy and lifelong learning ability. However, due to the constraints of class time, lack of experimental equipment and so on, the cultivation of students’ practice ability is greatly weakened in the real world. Therefore, we introduce the virtual simulation experiments into the teaching of high school biological experiments. They can effectively improve the teaching efficiency and quality, help students to master the knowledge points, and promote their ability of understanding and practicing.
