Abstract
Based on the magnetic field at the center axis of the Helmholtz coil, the Hall effect and its side effects are studied in depth. The effects of the Unequal effect, the Nernst effect and the Righi-Leduc effect on the measurement results are discussed in detail. The Unequal effect has a great influence on the measurement results, and the direction of the magnetic field must be changed to eliminate it; the Nernst effect and the Righi-Leduc effect have little effect on the measurement results, and it is necessary to theoretically explain the mechanism, and it is not necessary to deliberately eliminate. The experimental formula of vacuum permeability is further derived, and the approximate value of vacuum permeability when retaining 4 significant digits is experimentally measured. The relative error between the result and the theoretical value is 0.08%.
