Research on Safety and Environmental Protection Measures for Pharmaceutical and Biological Laboratories

This paper analyzes and experiments on the main problems in the safety and environmental protection of the drug research laboratory of the South-Central University for Nationalities (SCUN), and proposes improvement suggestions from the following three aspects: recovering toxic and harmful volatile organic solvents (including various mixed solvents), and reusing; optimizing the experimental content and methods, reducing or replacing the use of toxic and harmful reagents, reducing the emission of toxic substances, reducing environmental pollution, improving the safety of laboratory; learning from HACCP (hazards analysis and critical control points)method and establishing laboratory management rules for safety and environmental risks. It has been proved by practice that they can effectively solve the safety and environmental protection problems of pharmaceutical laboratories.
