Exploration and Practice of Chemistry Experiment Safety Education for Undergraduate Freshmen

Based on the principle of safety as the most important and education first,this article explores and practices safety ed-ucation in chemistry experiments for undergraduate freshmen. Through classroom education,case education,environmental construc-tion,supervision and inspection,etc.,the undergraduate freshmen were educated in the safety elements of chemical experiments such as personal safety protection,general laboratory safety protection,chemical reagents,hazardous chemicals knowledge,waste disposal and laboratory emergency measures. It has cultivated students' safety awareness,strengthened students' safety knowledge,improved students' safety and emergency response capabilities,and laid the foundation for follow-up teaching and research activities.
