Abstract
In order to evaluate the application valve of computer aided technology in clinical practice teaching of oral and maxillofical surgery,this paper chooses to remove a case of right maxillary impacted canine as a teaching example.The experimental group completed the preoperative analysis and surgical design with the help of virtual model and 3D-printed devices,while the control group completed the procedure only by image reading and imagination.After watching video of canine extraction procedure,the teaching effects and degree of satisfaction were investigated by questionnaires.The application of computer aided technology in the practice teaching in outpatient department of oral and maxillofacial surgery can help the students directly understanding the regional anatomy and surgical principles of impacted tooth extraction,while improving the application ability and teaching effects.
