Abstract:
With the continuous advancement of virtual network technology, virtual simulation-based experimental teaching plays an increasingly important role in undergraduate education, and has become a key element in promoting educational informatization. Focusing on the characteristics of experimental teaching for antenna courses, the necessity of implementing virtual simulation-based experimental teaching for the Electronic Information Engineering program is discussesed. Taking the development of a virtual simulation-based experimental platform for microstrip patch antenna design as an example, how this teaching approach can leverage its strengths and advantages in cultivating talents for electronic information-related majors in universities is illustrated. The multi-level and modular virtual simulation-based experimental teaching system established at Yancheng Institute of Technology is designed to foster the professional competencies of undergraduate students majoring in electronic information. Furthermore, the significant catalytic effect of this teaching approach on enhancing students’ practical skills and innovative abilities is discussed.
