Abstract:
This project originates from a practical project in an innovative design and competition course, designing and implementing a self-aiming intelligent electromagnetic gun system. By integrating electromagnetic gun launch technology with an intelligent vehicle platform, the system effectively enhances flexibility and response speed. It consists of an electromagnetic gun launch mechanism, a control mechanism, and an intelligent vehicle. A Raspberry Pi is used for real-time image recognition to achieve automatic target identification and aiming, while an Arduino controls the electromagnetic gun launch process. Additionally, ANSYS is used for simulation analysis of the electromagnetic gun launch process, and the results show that the system exhibits good acceleration performance and stability. Practical results show that this project integrates hardware design with software development across multiple disciplines. It is both suitable for student learning and sufficiently challenging. It not only enhances students’ practical skills and innovative thinking ability, but also cultivates their interdisciplinary knowledge application and teamwork abilities, laying a solid foundation for their future development in the engineering field.
