Experimental Design of Mechanics of Materials for Emerging Engineering Education

  • 摘要: 在教育部提出新工科建设的背景下,该文针对当前重庆市力学实验教学示范中心传统的材料力学实验教学模式与国家创新人才培养要求之间的矛盾,采用以工程实例为导向,增加创新型实验等方式,在教学内容、方式和考核等方面进行改革。通过教学改革,不仅能提高学生学习的积极性,也能将课程中掌握的知识与能力延伸到全国周培源力学竞赛、大学生结构设计大赛等力学竞赛及力学相关的创新项目和毕业设计中,从而达到培养学生创新和解决实际工程问题的能力。

     

    Abstract: In the context of the construction of emerging engineering education proposed by the Ministry of Education, this paper addresses the contradiction between the traditional experimental teaching mode of Mechanics of Materials at the current Chongqing Mechanics Experimental Teaching Demonstration Center and the requirements of national innovative talent cultivation. By adopting engineering case-oriented approaches and incorporating innovative experiments, reforms are carried out in teaching content, methods and assessment. These teaching reforms not only enhance students’ learning motivation, but also extend the knowledge and ability acquired in the course to competitions such as the National Zhou Peiyuan Mechanics Competition, the National College Students Structural Design Competition, as well as innovation projects and graduation theses related to mechanics, thereby cultivating students’ ability to innovate and solve practical engineering problems.
