Abstract:
Based on a scientific research project, this paper designs a comprehensive specialized experiment of switchable fluorescent carbon dots for the detection of Ag
+. According to the “OFF-ON” switchable fluorescence detection mode, the fluorescence of the synthesized yellow fluorescent carbon dots (Y-CDs) is quenched by Ag
+, and the subsequent addition of thiourea completely restores the fluorescence of the quenched Y-CDs . Compared with the fundamental experiments of conventional analytical chemistry, this experiment includes the knowledge of analytical chemistry and instrumental analysis and other disciplines, covering many knowledge points and requiring high comprehensive competence from students. Through this experiment, students can gain an in-depth understanding of this cutting-edge technology of fluorescent carbon dots, which helps stimulate the learning interest and scientific research enthusiasm of applied chemistry majors in experimental courses, fosters their innovation abilities, and meets the requirements of professional certification of engineering education for talent cultivation.
