Abstract:
It is of great significance to ensure people's health to train medical professionals who can solve practical medical problems with engineering technology. Distributed interventional medical device system, as a new cross-achievement between medicine and industry, is expected to open up a new quantitative Angle for clinical diagnosis and treatment methods relying on experience, and is a classic material to realize engineering technology to solve medical problems. This paper proposes an undergraduate medical and engineering cross-practice course for designing and building a mechanical sensing system for endovascular interventional devices. Students are required to complete the hardware design and software compilation of the sensing system by themselves according to the biomechanical distribution of the inner wall of the human body cavity, cultivate their application thinking of theoretical knowledge to guide engineering practice, and exercise their mastery and application of basic knowledge of multiple disciplines such as machinery and software. While helping students to lay a solid professional foundation, they accumulate rich practical experience, realize the teaching purpose of integrating production, teaching and research, and provide a practical foundation for the cross-practice courses of medical engineering.
