Abstract:
The laboratory serves as a crucial venue for talent cultivation, scientific research, and social services in vocational colleges. Addressing issues such as the “top-down” implementation gap of responsibility systems in open-service chemistry laboratories, the presence of numerous uncontrolled hazards, and increased management difficulties due to unconventional teaching tasks, this study proposes measures based on clarifying safety responsibilities, a closed-loop management framework of “Identification-Assessment -Control-Feedback,” and principles of new technology application. The proposed measures include an end-terminal safety system of “Responsibility + Environment + Boundary,” hazard classification management + dynamic monitoring + emergency drills, and pre-experiment review + process supervision + evaluation feedback. Practice demonstrates that the rejection rate of safety education by laboratory personnel decreased from 46% to 16%, while the acceptance rate of safety protection rose from 78% to 95%. The informatized supervision coverage of hazards reached 85%, and the timeliness of addressing safety hazards improved by approximately 33%, achieving zero safety accidents in the laboratory. The research outcomes effectively reduce laboratory safety incidents and provide a reference for the safety management of open-service laboratories in vocational colleges. This abstract outlines a comprehensive approach to laboratory safety management in vocational colleges, highlighting the critical role laboratories play in education, research, and community engagement.
