Abstract:
This paper presents a novel experimental scheme designed to address the challenges of abstract teaching content and high experimental costs associated with phased array antennas in the "Electromagnetic Fields and Waves" course. Based on the uniform linear array model, which is easy to analyze theoretically and implement experimentally, the proposed setup employs low-cost, readily available components. By integrating with a comprehensive electromagnetic wave experimental apparatus, it enables practical measurement of the radiation pattern. The experiment is both cost-effective and easy to operate. Teaching practice demonstrates that it helps students intuitively grasp antenna theory and effectively enhances their hands-on skills.
