Abstract: Animal biology experiment is a fundamental course for majors in biology and medicine.And it plays acrucial role in training the higher quality and creativity talents.In order to further improve the teaching effects of experiments in animal biology and enforce the ability and creativity, a series of teaching reforms were made according to the current situation and questions of experimental teaching in animal biology.The reforms stressed on promoting and recognizing experimental content,changing the teaching mode and means,and reforming the experiment examination mode.Through reforms as above, the quality and effects of experimental teaching are improved.The students initiative on animal biology experiments are improved, and the students comprehensive abilities are developed.
