Abstract: As a link among schools,colleges and students,instructor should play a leading role in the aspect of laboratory safety management.Based on the experience of the laboratory safety management at Beijing Institute of Technology,we improve the security management of the lab and to enhance instructor's responsibilities.This paper illustrated the necessity of instructor's responsibilities to the laboratory safety from the subjective and objective aspects.Meanwhile,from “instructor responsibilities and system construction,security funds and investment management,incentive mechanism and effective supervision” three aspects,it identified the instructor's responsibilities and specific initiatives of laboratory safety management.Only the responsibility of the colleges,schools,instructors and students have been undertake adequately,it can guarantee the safety of the lab and the schedule of the research and teaching plan.
