Abstract: Ordinary differential equation is a fundament curriculum for the mathematics major. It is also an important tool for students to solve the practical problems. This paper defines the teaching content of the ordinary differential equation and gives the connotation of mathematical experiment. From the objectives and the teaching requirement, combined with the ides and methods of mathematical experiments, mathematical modeling, and mathematical culture, some kinds of experimental teaching methods are explored.
