“信息论与编码”和“通信原理”综合实验的探索

摘要: “信息论与编码”与“通信原理”是通信与信息系统的专业基础课,它们阐述的原理和方法相辅相成,是分析和设计通信系统的理论基础。两门课的综合实验有利于学生对两门课程知识点,以及这些知识点间的关联有更深的理解和体会。通过对实验内容设置原则和思路、实验框架等进行探讨,并给出一个实例,阐述和分析实验结果。实验结果显示:该实验为学生提供了一个灵活可扩展的平台,学生可以对信源编解码、信道编解码和信号调制解调等功能模块的原理和性能进行考察和验证。Abstract: “Information Theory and Coding” and “Principles of Communications” are two basic major courses of communication and information system. The principle and method explained in these two courses are the foundation when analyzing and designing communication systems. Integrated experiment of these two courses will help students learn and deeply understand the knowledge points and their connection. The rule, the framework and the content of the experiment are investigated. Finally, an example is given to illustrate authors’ idea. A flexible and extensible experiment platform is given to the students. They can verify the principle and function of the communication system module, such as source coder-decoder, channel coder-decoder and signal modulation and demodulation, etc.
