Abstract:
This paper designs a comprehensive experiment based on the water jump experiment, it covers the flow patterns such as weir flow, sluice flow, open channel flow. It involves hydraulic characteristics such as weir coefficient, conjugated water depth, Froude number, water jumper length, water jump energy dissipation rate and flow velocity distribution. The teaching plan plays attention to cultivating students’ independent design boundary conditions and experimental programs. The results analysis emphasizes literature review and comparative analysis, and proposes a summary communication link. The experimental program can give full play to the subjective initiative of the students, thereby improving the students’ data analysis ability and achieving the purpose of flexible use of knowledge in engineering practice.
