Abstract:
In order to stimulate the experimental interest of students majoring in forensic science and improve their scientific research and innovation ability, this paper designs a comprehensive experiment on the synthesis of magnetic fluorescent carbon dots and their latent fingerprint development performance for the academic frontier and research hots. A kind of magnetic carbon dot composite nanopowder with blue light emission is prepared by hydrothermal synthesis, Stober method and layer-by layer assembly. The properties of as-prepared magnetic powder are studied by scanning electron microscope, transmission electron microscope, fluorescence spectrophotometer and vibrating sample magnetometer. In the experimental stage of latent fingerprint development, the magnetic brush method is used to develop and extract the latent fingerprints on various surfaces. This experiment involves a wide range of knowledge points and requires high comprehensive quality of students. It aims to improve the scientific literacy and the spirit of specialized research of college students, and makes a beneficial exploration for the cultivation of innovative talents in police technology and other related majors. This experiment can enable the synergistic promotion of teaching and scientific research in police colleges and universities of political science & law.
