Abstract: The paper deeply researches the laboratory safety and environmental protection management system of the University of Alberta in Canada, analyzes its advanced safety management system, detailed safety management content, rich and diverse safety education and training programs, and strict laboratory access system. Combined with the main problems and management status of laboratory safety and environmental protection management in China’s universities, several measures have been proposed which have reference significance to the laboratory safety and environmental protection management in China’s universities.
