Abstract
In order to enhance the quality of engineering practice education and promote the cultivation of outstanding engineers, a comprehensive practical teaching project for laser processing has been developed, which is aimed at solving complex engineering problems. The paper analyzes the current situation and existing problems of laser processing practical teaching, discusses the important position of laser processing practical training in the “Engineering Training” course, and proposes a detailed teaching plan for carrying out comprehensive practical projects. Combining the connotation of outstanding engineer training, the paper analyzes the selection elements of the project teaching carrier and selects four different themed products as teaching carriers. The course is based on the CDIO engineering education model for project-based teaching, which has achieved good teaching results, increased students’ product knowledge and project management experience, cultivated innovative thinking and practical ability, and established engineering professional quality and team cooperation awareness.
