Application of Digital Oscilloscope Based on Python Programming in Electrical Course Design Teaching

  • To cultivate innovative talents for the new engineering disciplines in electrical engineering and to address the lack of “diversified and personalized” gradient design in current electrical engineering course design, this paper develops a student-centered, teacher-guided comprehensive course design for a digital oscilloscope based on Python programming. Guided by the professional characteristics, interests, and practical goals of electrical engineering students, the course design adopts an open and diversified concept to design and implement digital oscilloscope functions using Python programming. Multi-dimensional reforms and explorations are carried out in terms of teaching mode, experimental teaching content, process management and assessment. During the teaching process, students are guided to independently learn, explore, and practice toward the defined functional objectives, which significantly enhances their comprehensive abilities in problem analysis, problem solving, engineering development, and innovation.
