Development of Boiler Pressure Monitor and Control System Based on PLC and WinCC

  • A monitor and control system for boiler pressure is developed,in which a S7-300 programmable logic controller(PLC) is used as the controller and WinCC as the configuration software of the host computer.The developed system will be used as a laboratory teaching case for“PLC control technology”course.The hardware loop is constructed and the PLC program is written for close-loop control of boiler pressure.The monitoring interface for host computer is configured.Experiment debugging results show that the boiler pressure can be regulated at the desired value and the host computer realizes monitoring functions such as controlling system start-stop,setting PID parameters and boiler desired pressure,displaying real-time pressure curve and so forth.
