Research and Reform of Experiment Course in Material Mechanics

This paper discusses the material mechanics course as a professional basic course for engineering students and analyes the importance of experimental courses in mechanics of materials course.According to the experiment teaching materials of material mechanics,experiment content and performance appraisal etc.,a series of research and reform have been carried out.The practical experience shows that reform of experimental courses to improve the quality of teaching,arouse the learning enthusiasm of students,stimulate students potential,on the cultivation of students creative thinking and practical ability,have certain effect to solve the actual problem ability and improving students qualities.
