Abstract: Many problems exist in traditional laboratories in terms of security, management, and environmental monitoring. The Internet of Things technology can provide intelligent services for laboratory management in universities. With the laboratory security management as the core application of the Internet of Things technology, an intelligent laboratory has been established to realize the life-cycle management of equipment, chemical reagents, and other resources in the laboratory, and to provide laboratory management with highly controllable, unified and coordinated wisdom service. Practice has shown that the intelligent experimental system built with the Internet of Things technology takes full advantage of modern technology, ensures the safety of the laboratory, and realizes the laboratory’s intelligent, refined and standardized management. The safety of the laboratory has been more effectively guaranteed.
