Abstract:
Aiming at the shortcomings of the existing digital video wireless transmission experimental platform, this paper presents a novel open experiment system of digital-analog hybrid video coding and transmission based on digital signal processor (DSP). We design the overall structure of the open experiment system, concerning the software/hardware partition issues. The design detail of the system is then described, such as the DSP core features, direct memory access channels and multi-clock domain data transmission. With the hardware platform, the corresponding software program is implemented and the test results are quantitatively analyzed. We also design a serial of experiments for teaching practice. The practices have proved that the experiment system can meet the needs of open experiment of wireless video transmission and obtain good teaching effects.
