基因工程实验数字化教学游戏的实现与教学实践初探

Preliminary Study on the Realization and Teaching Practice of Digital Teaching Game in Genetic Engineering Experiment

  • 摘要: 针对基因工程实验学习中的各种问题,尝试将“游戏化”的元素与虚拟技术相融合,开发出了基因工程实验教学游戏软件。相比于虚拟实验平台,基因工程实验教学游戏软件侧重于实现以游戏闯关的方式训练学生调动高阶思维解决问题的教育功能。教学实践结果表明,该软件在帮助学习者建立宏观操作和微观结果之间的联系,促进想象,增强知识运用等方面起到了积极作用。这种尝试为促进高等教育生物类专业的数字化游戏教学提供了思路。

     

    Abstract: Aiming at various problems in genetic engineering experimental learning, an attempt was made to fuse the elements of “gamification” with virtual technology to develop genetic engineering experimental teaching software “genetic engineering game experiment (GEGE)”. Compared with the virtual experimental platform, GEGE software focuses on the educational function of training students to mobilize higher-order thinking to solve problems in a game-breaking way. The teaching practice results show that the GEGE software has played a positive role in helping learners to establish a connection between macro operations and micro results, promoting imagination, and enhancing the use of knowledge. This attempt provides ideas for promoting digital game teaching in higher education biology majors.
