大型主机系统管理虚拟仿真实验平台建设

Construction of the Virtual Simulation Platform for Mainframe System Management

  • 摘要: 大型主机在我国银行业应用广泛,但因其价格昂贵、技术复杂使得高校培养主机人才门槛高、难度大。为了更好地培养大型主机系统管理人才,同济大学提出建设大型主机系统管理虚拟仿真实验平台,在开源Hercules平台上部署主机ADCD系统以构建主机虚拟机,在虚拟机上开发并部署具有Web交互式服务的系统管理系列实验,包括安全管理、存储管理、目录管理、硬件管理等。实践证明,该平台能够有效降低实训成本及操作风险,缩短主机系统管理人才的培养周期。

     

    Abstract: Given the wide application of mainframe in China’s banking sector, the high cost and complex technology contribute to problems such as high entry barriers and difficulties in grooming mainframe talents in the universities. In order to better educate mainframe system management personnel, a virtual simulation platform for mainframe system management is proposed by Tongji University. ADCD system is deployed based on open source software Hercules to build host virtual machine, and series of system management experiments including security management, storage administration, catalog management and hardware management, among others are designed and implemented on it with interactive web service. The platform can effectively reduce the training cost and operational risk, and shorten the cultivation cycle of mainframe system management personnel.
