Abstract:
In response to the cultivation demand for research and innovation ability of undergraduates, this paper designs an exploratory comprehensive experiment of “gene editing in mammalian cell lines via CRISPR/Cas9 technology” that incorporates original and cutting-edge research into the experiment teaching for students. Through the study of the experimental course, students could acquire knowledge about bioinformatics and some conventional research methods regarding molecular biology, biochemistry and cellular biology. The practice indicates that the experimental course is conducive to cultivating students’ innovative thinking and scientific literacy through relatively complete scientific research.
