Comprehensive Experiment Design and Practice of Gene Editing

  • 摘要: 基于本科生科研创新能力的培养需求,该文设计了“利用CRISPR/Cas9技术对哺乳动物细胞进行基因编辑”这一探究性综合实验,将原创性前沿科学研究引入到学生的实验教学中。通过该实验课程的学习,学生能够掌握一定的生物信息学知识以及分子生物学、生物化学和细胞生物学相关的常规科研方法和手段。实践表明,通过相对完整的科研探索,该实验课程对于培养学生的创新思维和科学素养是很有帮助的。

     

    Abstract: In response to the cultivation demand for research and innovation ability of undergraduates, this paper designs an exploratory comprehensive experiment of “gene editing in mammalian cell lines via CRISPR/Cas9 technology” that incorporates original and cutting-edge research into the experiment teaching for students. Through the study of the experimental course, students could acquire knowledge about bioinformatics and some conventional research methods regarding molecular biology, biochemistry and cellular biology. The practice indicates that the experimental course is conducive to cultivating students’ innovative thinking and scientific literacy through relatively complete scientific research.
