Abstract:
Combining with the teaching case of electronic design course, this paper introduces a design method of single live wire remote control touch switch. Firstly, the principle of single wire power supply is analyzed, and then the key technologies of intelligent switch design such as touch monitoring, radio-frequency remote control coding and decoding, remote control pairs are deeply studied. On this basis, the software and hardware of single-chip microcomputer PIC16F690 are designed. Experimental results show that the designed single live wire remote touch switch is sensitive to touch monitoring, and the detection distance can reach 5 mm; the stable and reliable radio-frequency remote control can realize 20 m window wall control, providing a demonstration for the design of single live wire intelligent switch. The design process in alignment with the practical application is introduced into the classroom as a teaching case, training students’ awareness of innovation as well as their ability to solve engineering problems.
