Abstract:
The experimental course of soil mechanics is an integral part of practical teaching in engineering universities. Due to many factors that need to be considered in the grade assessment and the influence of teachers’ subjective factors, it is difficult to generate accurate grades with conventional evaluation methods. In order to make relatively fair judgments for students’ grades, after analyzing the existing problems in the assessment process of experimental course, this paper adopts the fuzzy analytic hierarchy process (FAHP) to make qualitative evaluation of different assessment indicators during the experiments. Meanwhile, this paper applies fuzzy matrix to transfer from qualitative judgment to quantitative grades, and eventually obtaining relatively objective and reasonable grades. Featured with good operability, this approach can reach grade assessment standard of experimental course on multiple levels and from multiple angles, and provide references and demonstrations for grade assessment of the same type experimental courses in universities.
