Abstract:
The scientific research hot topic “Low dimensional nanostructure photodetector” is transformed into undergraduate innovation experiment course. ZnO nanorod arrays have been prepared by hydrothermal method, and scanning electron microscopy and X-ray diffraction measurements have been performed to investigate the morphology and structural properties of ZnO nanorod arrays. Ultraviolet photodetector has been fabricated by evaporating Ag electrods on the top of ZnO nanorods arrays. The photoresponsivity of ultraviolet photodetector has been investigated. This innovation experiment enables students to master the preparation method of related materials, understand the mechanism of photodetectors, which can stimulate their enthusiasm for scientific research and the ability of self-innovation.
