Abstract:
The teaching content of marine renewable energy generation technology is abstract, and the real experiment cannot be carried out. According to the actual teaching needs of courses such as “Marine Energy Development and Utilization”, combined with the physical model of Shanghai Engineering Research Center of Marine Renewable Energy, the virtual simulation experimental system of marine renewable energy generation is constructed. The system includes five power generation technologies: wave energy, current energy, tidal energy, solar energy and wind energy, which contains cognitive learning, structural assembly, power generation principle, planning and design, and comprehensive experiment. Through interactive experimental operation, students can fully understand and master the structure, working principle, control technology, real-time operating characteristics, and power balance of different voltage/frequency levels. The virtual simulation experiment has effectively expanded the breadth and depth of practical teaching in marine engineering course, which is helpful to improve students’ participation and enthusiasm, and cultivate students’ spirit of innovation and practical abilities.
