Abstract:
An experimental platform for dual antenna radio direction finding is designed independently. The platform is equipped with a dual-antenna direction finding and ranging receiver carried by an intelligent car to receive and demodulate long-range beacon signals, and extract range, angle, sensors information to realize beacon search, positioning, tracing and operation control. The experimental platform adopts superheterodyne digital IF receiver structure, and uses large-scale programmable devices to complete signal processing. It can be used as a multi-level digital radio experiment teaching resource for senior undergraduates majoring in EE. The experimental solution comprehensively applies the knowledge of multiple specialized courses and has high engineering practicability. The design process of experimental platform can stimulate students’ professional interest and solve the problem of knowledge fragmentation, the design process also enables students to integrate professional theories and engineering practice, it cultivates students' ability to solve problems of electronic information engineering system design.
