基于机器视觉的车牌定位与字符识别实验设计

Experimental Design of License Plate Location and Character Recognition Based on Machine Vision

  • 摘要: 针对机器视觉课程理论内容抽象、理解难度大、相关实验教学装置欠缺的问题,基于机器视觉设计了一种车牌模型的定位与字符识别实验平台,平台由下位机控制系统和上位机软件组成。下位机由图像采集与传输系统、运动控制系统构成,上位机软件由人机交互界面、定位算法与字符识别算法组成,基于VS2019联合Halcon设计包括目标物体的定位与跟踪、MLP分类器训练、字符分割与识别等功能模块在内的控制软件,实现了车牌模型的定位跟踪与字符识别。实验设计具有实用性、趣味性和扩展性,可辅助学生理解机器视觉技术的真实应用场景,提高学生实践能力和创新能力。

     

    Abstract: Aiming at the problems of abstract theoretical content of machine vision course, difficult to understand and lack of relevant experimental teaching devices, a license plate model positioning and character recognition experiment platform was designed based on machine vision, which was composed of lower computer control system and upper computer software. The lower computer is composed of image acquisition and transmission system and motion control system. The upper computer software is composed of human-computer interaction interface, positioning algorithm and character recognition algorithm. Based on VS2019 and Halcon, the control software is designed including target positioning and tracking, MLP classifier training, character segmentation and recognition and other functional modules. The location tracking and character recognition of license plate model are realized. The experimental design is practical, interesting and extensible, which can help students learn the real application scenarios of machine vision technology and improve their practical ability and innovation ability.
