Abstract:
Taking full advantage of large-scale instruments to promote the reform of undergraduate experimental teaching plays an important role in the opening and sharing of them. It is also one of the challenges faced by many universities in the management of large-scale instruments. Based on the working principle and characteristics of large-scale instrument particle size and shape analyser, its application in undergraduate soil mechanics experimental teaching was carried out. The beneficial explorations achieved good results and provided ideas and experience for the further application of large-scale instruments in undergraduate experimental teaching. The results show that the improved course, with its enriched content, not only stimulates students' learning interest but also fosters their hands-on skills and innovative thinking in a comprehensive manner. Besides, it can significantly improve the service efficiency of large-scale instruments for the better cultivation of high-quality talents.
