Abstract: The investment of instrument and equipment in colleges and universities is increasing continuously. How to manage and control the instruments and equipment well so as to make them play a full role in the teaching and scientific research is a problem that the majority of universities instruments and equipment management workers try to solve. After a long period of exploration and practice, Sichuan University has proposed the 10S refined instrument and equipment management system for the first time. Promoting development through management, combining theory with practice, and combining the standardization and modernization of the daily management of instruments and equipment have greatly improved the scientific and refined level of the management of instruments and equipment, and effectively improved the benefits of the opening and sharing of instruments and equipment. The specific content of 10S fine management in the instrument and equipment management is expounded and analyzed, which can provide some reference and help for the instrument and equipment management in other universities.
