Abstract: Infrastructure (CNKI) database from 1995 to 2022 are visualized and analyzed using CiteSpace 6.2.2 software. The results indicate that in the past 28 years, research in the field of laboratory safety has gone through a period of gestation, germination, slow growth, and rapid growth. The number of publications and literature accumulation are almost consistent with the construction and development process of domestic laboratories. The cooperation between authors and institutions is not very close, and the research force is relatively weak. The majority of researchers and institutions are “211” and “985” universities, and most of them are administrative staff involved in laboratory and equipment management; The research hotspots in different periods are different, showing obvious divergences and hierarchical progression, and mainly related to safety events with social impact.
