Abstract:
The traditional bending-torsion combination experimental teaching has the limitation of time and space. Therefore, it is difficult for students to learn in depth. To solve these problems, a bending-torsion combination virtual simulation experimental platform was developed using UG and Unity3D software. The platform adopts a service-oriented software architecture design firstly. Then it was designed with reference to the layout basis of the mechanics laboratory of Xinjiang University. Moreover, it provides two kinds of strain flower virtual simulation experiments of 45° and 60°. Finally, the paper emphasizes a more intelligent design of system modules. The application results show that the development of this platform expands the research angle and operation form of the experiment and meets the needs of cost, safety, flexibility, intelligence and innovation education. It also provides new ideas for the development of other virtual simulation experiments.
